Roots Salute

CDC station is a communal online Reggae Radio Station broadcasting from the island of Cyprus. Its aim is to create a platform for local djs, soundsystems and live acts to promote and spread Reggae music on the island and abroad.
On 17th October, Cyprus Dub Community radio will bring together its resident djs and guest acts to perform live @ Paradise Rock Pub, Nicosia. Part of this event will be broadcasted live through www.cdcstation.com

For the third year Jah Star Soundsystem returns to Molos, Limassol for another Sunday afternoon full of vibes!
*Come and join on Sunday 28.06.2015 for a Reggae Soundsystem session next to the sea at Molos Promenade in Limassol.
*Music will start at 16:00 and will keep playing roots reggae and dub music until 22:00.
*Guest selector from the Roots Crew Soundsystem

*Located next to the skate park at Molos, like the previous years.

JAH Star Soundsystem

Inspired by the reggae and dub soundsystem culture, JAH Star Soundsystem is a "new" soundsystem on the island of Cyprus, based in Limassol. It took us around 3 years to build the first part of the sound, since everything is self-funded and the speaker boxes are hand-made and custom built.

After many years of playing conscious reggae, roots reggae and dub music we have seen that the way forward is the way of the soundsystem. Our aim is to use the sound not only for entertainment purposes, but also for pointing out important social and spiritual matters. We want through the music to uplift the people attenting and to create a meditative vibe which gives strength and guidance to I&I.JAH Star Soundsystem started as a solo project by selector Red I. After some time Humble Lion joined the soundsystem and we have been moving forward ever since. Today even more people are involved and support the sound in different ways.Live Broadcast
